Hot Summer Fashion Trends!

So summer is coming up soon, and I decided that I wanted to make a post on some fashion trends that I am currently loving for this upcoming season! [p.s. look at the pictures in the background! you can see some of my favorite people hehe]

Claire's Haul!

First off, I was so excited to get these bunny ears. I went full out and drew on whiskers with eyeliner, and now I'm pretending to be a bunny. I refuse to eat anything for dinner except salad, thank you very much mother. [nail polish is Naked by China Glaze]

Fanta Fanta!

Mmm... how I love Fanta! This drink is amazing, and I cannot believe I'm saying this but it tastes better than Coca-Cola. Oh my! Haha, I seriously never thought I would say those words together in my entire life! But I am, and I'm proud of it! I love Fanta right now. I have to buy a liter at Walmart now!

Speaking of a favorite drink, I also have a favorite lipgloss! It's Lip Smacker's Melon Kiss. I think it's still avaliable in the US [I haven't checked in a while!] but it looks good on and tastes good [hehe]

It has a subtle hint of color which makes it different from a clear lipgloss, and it really looks good on my lips.

I wouldn't say the texture is thick at all because its very thin. Not too slippery, just right! ^_^ I had a Covergirl lipgloss and it felt like I was wearing mineral oil on my lips, and that felt HORRIBLE! This is slightly thicker, so the formula is made awesome.

I have an eye infection, so it is NOT a good day for a tutorial haha. But I haven't posted one in a while so I decided to do yesterday's makeup, which was inspired by the pinks and purples of Hello Kitty! Products listed are below the tutorial. Hope you enjoy it!

Japanese Strip Mall, Haul!

I'm such a sucker for Japanese products. Anything. Even tissues. Haha!

So I visited a Japanese strip mall like 45 minutes ago, and I purchased a decent amount of stuff. I realise that Japanese brand products are more expensive than US products, but if you can afford it, buy it, right? I'm gonna show you an in depth view of the products I got.

Simple Tsubasa Masuwaka Makeup

Apply a mattifying cream.

Apply a powder foundation to your face. Tsubasa's skin is flawless.

Apply under eye brightener and concealer.

Use a highlighter all over your face. This ISN'T blush- it's like benefit dandelion :D

Fill in your brows with a light brow color.

Apply a cream eyeshadow halfway across your eyelids.

Make a slight winged-out affect on your eyelids.

It looks so pretty :)

Apply a nude lipgloss. Don't wear a base as it will lighten up your natural lip color.

This is me without the product on, I have mineral BB cream and such on so I'm not sure if that's going to effect the products at all.

Thisis the foundation. Looks pretty yellow on camera, but it's not in real life.

 I applied half of the foundation to the right side of my face. It started caking and looked orange.

You can't really see a difference on camera. The foundation started caking and became dry on my face. Very uncomfortable.

I applied the foundation to my entire face in this picture. Do you see the caking? It's not very attractive. Yuck. I applied the powder over it and I noticed that the powder is like a powder foundation and the payoff is pretty excellent. Don't apply both to your face at once because it will crease.
