Primpin' for the Party- A Party Ready Makeup Tutorial

Hey~! I've decided to do a makeup tutorial for one of my best friends since she is going out to a special party soon. This is for you, Serena! Or, anyone that loves to party!

PRODUCTS USED [ALL DRUGSTORE!]

  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder Shine Control Face Powder
  • Concealer or Eyeshadow Base
  • Nyx Cosmetics10 Color Eyeshadow Palette in Champagne and Caviar
  • NYC Eyeshadow Duo in Island Sunset
  • Maybelline Lash Stiletto Volume Mascara
  • NYC Cream Blush Stick in Urban Spice
  • L'Oreal Infallible Lipgloss in Suede

Apply a powder on your face or a powder foundaton (depending on how greasy your skin can get]. Focus the powder on your forehead and on your nose, since those are the places you are most likely to get oily.

Get your eyes ready with a eyeshadow primer! Okay, okay, I lied. This product is from Smashbox, so it's not from the drugstore. :/ But you can use a concealer to prime your eyes also!

Apply a shimmery champagne shade across your entire lid. It will make your eyes sparkle and shine throughout the night!

Lightly and steadily apply a dark purple eyeshadow along your bottom lashline. Don't let it droop down, just make a straight line across like you are putting on eyeliner! Otherwise the shadow will make it look like you have bags underneath your eye! You don't want that~!

Apply a mascara that has volume. It really makes it look like you are wearing false eyelashes!

Apply a cream stick blush across your cheek like so. Then blend it in. This will create a contour to your face!

Apply a sparkly dark nude color to your lips. This makes your face shine even more!

Yay! So, how did you makeup turn out Serena? :3
